001 – welcome to real life

this is it.  real life.  where you are.  where’re you’re at.  real.  there are emotions and challenges and mistakes and joys right where you are.  it’s real.  i’m there too!  and this is it: real life.  but our real lives are overarched by a greater theme and a bigger being: God.

sure, this life is real, but God is huge.  yeah, we can have joy, but the JOY of Christ is bigger still.  and this is it:  the world calls us to stay in line towards a life that satisfies ourselves.  but it is time to fall out of line.  how about we fall out of step with the world and live the lives that we’re called to?

 

…and that would be the origin of the name…
